Biography
Sporting background
Hunter McIntyre鈥檚 sporting background spans elite obstacle-course racing and functional fitness. Spartan describes him as one of the sport鈥檚 most recognizable competitors and credits him with six top-seven finishes at the Spartan World Championship. CrossFit鈥檚 official athlete record also lists him 61st in the men鈥檚 field at the 2019 CrossFit Games.
HYROX achievements
In HYROX, McIntyre is a three-time World Champion, winning in 2020, at Las Vegas in 2022 and at Manchester in 2023. Other recorded Elite 15 victories include Dallas in 2021 and Stockholm in 2023. He returned to the World Championship podium with second place in 2025, then finished fifth in the Elite 15 at the 2026 World Championships in Stockholm.
