Biography

Sporting background

Calypso Sheridan was a collegiate swimmer at Northwestern and USC, earning NCAA All-America honours at both and two Big Ten titles at Northwestern. Her sporting path later expanded into obstacle-course racing, triathlon, ultra-trail running and modern pentathlon. She first raced HYROX in Los Angeles in 2022, initially treating it as secondary to OCR and triathlon.

HYROX achievements

After finishing 14th on her Elite 15 debut in Hamburg in 2025, Sheridan won both the singles and Elite 15 Doubles titles at the 2026 APAC Championships in Brisbane, partnering Meg Martin in doubles. At the World Championships in Stockholm, she placed fourth individually and fifth with Martin in Elite 15 Doubles, then helped Australia win the mixed relay.
