Biography
Sporting background
Sinéad Bent began running at school and competes for Salford Harriers & AC across track, cross-country and road races. She ran the anchor leg when Salford won the English and British women’s six-stage road-relay titles in 2022. After years as a middle-distance and road runner, she made her HYROX debut in London in May 2024 with four days’ notice.
HYROX achievements
Bent placed fourth individually and second with Lucy Procter in Elite 15 Doubles at the 2025 World Championships. At the 2026 EMEA Championships in London, she won both the singles and doubles titles, the latter with Procter. She then took bronze individually and another doubles silver with Procter at the 2026 World Championships in Stockholm.
