Biography
Sporting background
Gabrielle Nikora-Baker came to HYROX from bodybuilding and strength training rather than endurance sport. After four to five years focused on getting stronger, she began running in 2024. That year, a friend invited her to enter a HYROX race in Melbourne; after three months of preparation, she made her debut there in mixed doubles.
HYROX achievements
After finishing ninth on her Elite 15 singles debut in Melbourne in 2025, Nikora-Baker placed fifth in Phoenix in 2026 and qualified for the World Championships. At the 2026 APAC Championships in Brisbane, she was runner-up in both Elite 15 singles and Elite 15 Doubles, partnering Mollie Fkiaras. She later placed ninth individually at the World Championships in Stockholm.
