Biography

Sporting background

Mikaela Norman played football and basketball, including basketball for Tureberg and Solna Vikings. A herniated disc at 19 ended her basketball pursuit. Rehabilitation led her to gym training, and she was later introduced to CrossFit. She entered the CrossFit Open after three months, later reaching four CrossFit Regionals and finishing 16th with a team at the 2022 CrossFit Games.

HYROX achievements

Norman won her HYROX debut in Hamburg in 2022 in 1:00:45, setting the women鈥檚 Pro world record at the time. She then finished second at the 2023 European Championships in Maastricht and won the 2023 North American Championship in Chicago. She and Megan Jacoby also won women鈥檚 doubles in Stockholm in 54:42, before Norman placed tenth at the 2024 World Championships in Nice.
