Lauren Griffith ran cross-country in college before moving into obstacle-course and Spartan racing. She first heard about fixed-course hybrid racing from another competitor at an obstacle race. After trying several races, she committed in mid-2023 to competing in HYROX and DEKA, initially treating that season as a development year.
HYROX achievements
Griffith made her Elite 15 singles debut at the 2024 European Championship in Vienna and went on to place fifth at Washington DC, Amsterdam and Hong Kong that year. With Lauren Weeks, she won women鈥檚 Elite 15 Doubles at the 2025 World Championships in Chicago and again at Hamburg later that year, then placed sixth in Melbourne.
